What a beauty Pebbles is! She is a high strung and active girl that's now close to a year and a half old. Pebbles has been with us since she was three months old; surrendered because her owner was moving. While she knows the shelter as home and has made friends here, both four and two legged, we're hoping she's able to find an active home that's looking for a dog that's ready for adventure. Pebbles is full grown at just under fifty pounds and has a tall muscular build. She's an athletic dog that absolutely loves to play and would benefit with a household that lives an active lifestyle.

This handsome guy is Diesel! Diesel came to us from a partnering county shelter a little over a year ago and unfortunately we are the third facility that Diesel has called home. Diesel was originally adopted out from a county shelter to find himself as a stray in another county with no one coming to claim him. He has understandably taken time to settle in, but has shown that he has a sweet and affectionate personality. He doesn't show well in his kennel as his he flings himself from one side to the other, but once out he calms down and you're able to get to know him.

Say hey to Amichi! He was surrendered as a young pup with seven of his siblings. Amichi is now just over a year old and according to a sibling's DNA test, he's 50% German Shorthaired Pointer (which we 100% see). True to his breed, Amichi is a very active dog that needs an outlet for his energy. He would greatly benefit from a home that gives him an appropriate resource to release his energy such as a fenced in back yard to run in, or an active person that can take him on many walks or runs. He needs an adopter that is looking for an active companion, not a couch potato.

Missy is a Pitbull terrier mix weighing about 25 pounds. She
is dark brown and white with a distinct white line that runs down the middle
of her face. She is 7.5 years old and has never gotten out or been missing
before. She is a little skittish and will run if chased but loves treats.

Brindle with white neck and chest. Grey nose. Very friendly.
Loves sunbathing, chasing squirrels and snuggling. He has never been outside
overnight and is probably very afraid.

This beautiful Treeing Walker Coonhound is Molly. Adopted as a puppy named Larissa, Molly was recently returned as the child in the home was too fearful of dogs. Molly liked to "hunt" small critters as it is in her breed. She is now around 11 months old and looking for a hound loving home that has experience. Molly is true to her breed down to the signature bellow. She would be better suited to a home, preferably with a fenced in yard, than apartment life. Molly gets along well with other dogs and wouldn't mind a canine sibling or two.
