The shelter is located off of Highway 49, which is now a split highway that has two lanes running both north and south, about a half mile southwest of highway 601 (Charlotte side of Concord), down the hill from Terminal Trucking. If you are coming from Concord, turn right at General Services Drive just before the bridge.   If you are coming from Charlotte, make a U-turn left at a crossover towards Terminal Trucking and got back to General Services Drive (on the right)  Then turn right up on Betsy Carpenter Place
