Operations Update

In an attempt to keep our volunteers, kennel staff and potential adopters safe, Ruth's Memorial Shelter will continue to operate on an "Appointment Only" basis. Please call each location to make an appointment. Ruth's Memorial Shelter is open for appointments during the day on Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Appointment times are available between noon and 4:30pm. Princeton's Meow is currently open on weekday evenings from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, there are no weekend hours at this time.

Notice

Our dog adoption fee is $190. If paying by credit or debit card, the bank adds a 3% fee. We do not accept personal checks unless pre-approved.

Requirements for Adoption of Dogs

You must be at least 21 years of age and live within a 50 mile radius of our facility.
All current animals must be spayed/neutered and current on all vaccines and heartworm prevention. We require proof of this;
We check vet references, please be prepared to provide this or bring proof of vaccination records;
We require that our dogs sleep inside.
