Alyse came to us from one of our out-of-area shelter partners as a pregnant momma cat in 2023. A tried and true southern girl, Alyse was an excellent momma to her 2 babies as well as 4 orphaned babies, whom have all since gone home. Alyse has suffered from some anxiety that has caused her to overgroom and cause damage to her coat. She takes a very inexpensive anxiety medication daily to help her manage this. After all, who can blame her for being a little anxious in this world, right? We think a home environment will help her significantly and she may not even need this medication long-term in a more stable and consistent environment. But even if she does, it’s okay to need some help to get through the day to day if you ask us! Alyse is ready to go home and settle into the lap of luxury. If you have spring toys for her to chase after and love having a litter box scooping partner that weaves through your legs while you work, or even just love to pick up a sweet black kitty and cuddle, we think Alyse may be the girl for you!
