Have you ever been misunderstood? Camilo Madrigal has spent a lot of time feeling misunderstood. He came to us from one of our rescue partners and was very skittish at first. He has since settled into his tolerance of people but much prefers the company of other cats over humans. He tends to pick his friends very selectively and much prefers a cat that is willing to play, wrestle and roll with him through the house. Camilo would not pair up well with a cat with a submissive personality for that very reason - he'd be likely to bully a cat that can't hold their own. Because Camilo doesn't have much use for people, he needs someone who understands that he just wants to be a cat and live his best cat life. Someone willing to give him his space that isn't craving constant kitty attention from him - that just isn't his style.
