Meet Bessie! She is an energetic two and a half old mix of shepherd, hound and maybe a dash of husky. She came to us from a animal control facility in South Carolina and was recently returned due to no fault of her own. Bessie would do best in an active house hold that has the time to work with her and give her an outlet for her energy. She would be better suited for a home with older children that are experienced around dogs. She has a high drive to play with toys, but needs a little understanding that she needs to share the toys with her people. Bessie would be great to take on hiking adventures or runs through the neighborhood. She absolutely loves water too and wishes that her water bucket was a pool.
