About Danny Kaye (DR6317)

Danny was brought to us by a "good sam" after being dumped in a cardboard box in their driveway as a puppy. He was covered in scars, had missing hair, and had a significant infection in both eyes. He clearly had never had any care shown to him and was a timid puppy. After months of vet visits and medications, the infection in his eyes cleared, his ulcers healed, and his entropion was corrected. His eyes are now managed with daily medication that he does well with. Danny would benefit from having another dog in the home that can give him some guidance, but he would need a proper introduction to any other dogs to ensure a good fit. He would be scared of young children, so he would need a home free of them. Danny has grown up in the shelter setting so he isn't familiar with many things outside of here. This causes him to be very timid in new situations and when meeting new people. Danny needs a home that will help train him and teach him that things aren't so scary.
