McGuire is a handsome speckled Cattle Dog mix that was born in foster care last January, making him just over a year old. He's the perfect medium sized dog right at 31 pounds! He enjoys the company of other dogs and will spend all day playing out in the yard with his canine friends. McGuire has grown up in the shelter setting so he is use to the faces he sees here everyday. Meeting strangers is foreign to him, so he takes a minute to come out of his shell when being introduced to someone he doesn't know. He just needs someone to show him a little patience and understanding and he's sure to be a loyal companion. McGuire would do best in a mature, yet active home that maybe has another dog or two to show him the ropes and provide companionship.
