Meet Paloma! She's a petite twenty pound mix that was surrendered to us in February of last year. Unbeknownst to us, she not only brought herself as we learned she was pregnant just a week later. Paloma delivered her puppies via emergency c-section in March and they have since been adopted. Paloma has been in foster care where she's slowly adjusting after living her entire eight years of life as an outside dog. She enjoys running around with her canine foster siblings and spending time with her foster mom. Due to the lack of vet care coupled with living outside, Paloma is unfortunately heartworm positive when she came to us. She has since been treated and has tested negative for the disease. Paloma gets along with both dogs and cats, and especially loves puppies. Her foster said she's a wiggle butt and loves chewing on her toys.
