About Zorro (DR6036)

Zorro is an adorable fifteen pound Chihuahua (and maybe Jack Russell) mix who will be turning six soon. His been in our care for a couple of years after finding his way to us with several house mates when their owner passed away. Zorro can be timid when meeting new people, but once he's hard time to get to know you, he's right at your feet for attention. Zorro enjoys cuddles, walks, and playtime in the yard. He is crate trained and feels comfortable in a crate, often going to lay in an open one. He's starting to learn that dog beds are pretty awesome and will sometimes seek one out to play on while you're watching tv. Zorro is currently in foster care where his foster states that he's a smart boy and is very food motivated. He does well with knowing to go outside to potty also. Zorro would do fine in a home with other dogs his size but would not be suited to living with small children or cats. If you think this cutie would be the right fit for you, please call us at (704) 784-7387 to set up a meet and greet appointment.

Zorro is in foster care with Vinicio, who also came from the same previous home. Previously thought to be bonded, the boys do well on their own and they can be adopted together or separately.
